Willmar, MN – December, 2011 - Minnesota-based Torgerson Properties, which owns 25 hotels and 10 restaurants in Minnesota and Florida, is seeking approvals for its proposed new hotel. If built, the hotel would be one of only a few new lodging properties to come on line in the past few years as the travel industry slowly recovers from recession.

Minnetonka may be home to a new Hampton Inn and Suites, slated to open in summer 2013. The proposed hotel would be built on the same land where the Stuart Anderson Cattle Company restaurant once stood, just north of Interstate 394.
